We’ve become a nation of “excusitis” and “blameitonsomethingelseitis.”  And that is particularly true when it comes our health.  Even medical professionals are using research to tell people it’s not their fault they are fat and unhealthy.  I say that is simply stupid thinking!  Because of that way of thinking, many people have relegated their responsibility for their personal health.  They will say that they can’t help being obese or have heart disease.  I can understand if they suffer from something they were born with, like Type I Diabetes.  Still, knowing that, they can take responsibility for their health.

Now, you have to ask yourself, “Do I really want to be healthy and fit?”  If you truly do, then it will show through your actions.  Just saying it doesn’t make it so.  And if you complain that you can’t get there, then either accept responsibility and take action towards health or become another unhealthy stat.  And stop complaining and blaming!  That only lets me and others know that you have given up your health to someone else.

My brother blames his health on his genes.  That is so much bull!  So, he will eat junk, not exercise and not sleep.  My father did the same thing (with the addition of smoking).  If you don’t fit into your jeans, then don’t blame your genes.  Simply look at your attitude and your actions.

Get into the right thoughts and take the right actions towards health and fitness.  You have control, if you want it.  It is your responsibility, if you want it.  It is your health, if you want it.  Do you want it?  Really, really want it?

Be healthy,
