Twas the night before Christmas and all through house not one person exercised, not even the spouse…
Fitness and exercise doesn’t stop just because it’s the holidays. It’s about consistency. Now, I’m not saying that you need to do it on Christmas day or any other holiday that is celebrated. And it’s okay to take a day off now and then. Still, like any other action, it’s consistency that keeps the momentum going towards your goal of fitness. That includes losing unhealthy weight, such as fat.
You can do exercises that incorporate the holidays. You can do lunge-walking throughout the house. Or use kitchen implements to exercise with. You don’t have to go to the gym in order to get your exercise in, just make adjustments.
You can set aside some time during the day to about 15 minutes of exercising. That includes for all the the holidays. I know you will do it, right?
Watch your portion sizes when you eat. Use a 9″ plate for you meals so it’ll give the illusion of a large meal. You’ll be able to get through Christmas Eve and other holidays pretty much in good shape.
So, have fun this whole holiday season and still keep healthy and fit..
