Success-habits-600

As we end one year and move into the next one, we think about the transitions that take place. Today offers us an opportunity to reflect on what we left behind as we prepare for what lies ahead.

Over the course of the next 365 days you and I will have an opportunity to grow stronger, better and make a difference. Ultimately, it’s up to you to do what you believe is the right way. I can’t dictate, nor should I. What I do is to help those that want help from my expertise give it to them. That’s it.

Reflection

Looking back to the last 12 months, you also have an opportunity to learn from the mistakes you’ve made as well as the growth you’ve occurred. For some, the past year may have seemed long and would rather have forgotten it. For others, the past year was amazing, full of success. In my opinion, the past year should be remembered, even if it was not what you expected when you first ventured into it on January 1st.

Each year you’ll have lessons galore. The reason you shouldn’t forget it are those lessons. To forget may mean you may repeat the same mistakes over again. Take your failures, learn from them and propel yourself bigger and better in the next 12 months.

writing-down-goals-2

Write down all your accomplishments from the past 12 months as well as your failures. What did you learn from both? Use them for the upcoming year. Also, write down your goals and dreams for the coming year.

Set forth a plan of action towards worthy goals and dreams. Adjust from the mistakes you’ve made before and in this way you are assured of being on a better path. Growth is happening to you. Strength in your endeavor grows too. Grit and determination are a part of the equation when you have persistence embedded within you. Those are major keys to success.

Now, step into January 1st with those keys to reaching your dreams. Make this coming year your best ever by giving it your best effort!
